i'm turning 30 in three weeks. i'm mostly cool with it, and only slightly in denial.
to surprise me for my {early} birthday, my parents came down this week to visit, and i had NO IDEA! we had spent the day as a family at the museum on saturday, and went to cafe rio after. and i'm sitting there, enjoying my tres leches, and these man arms grab me from behind. haha, needless to say, i screamed and then squealed when i realized it was my dad! happy happy day! it was the best surprise. they just went home today, and we had so much fun. we went to the train park, the airport to watch the planes, and we built the kiddos a sandbox in the backyard. it was fabulous! i'm so so glad they came, i love them so much, and my kids adore them. it was the perfect birthday surprise!
