stick a fork in me, i'm DONE!

baby sister was spoiled this week at a really fun baby shower thrown by my amazing ward, all her little pink clothes and blankets and burp cloths have been washed and folded, and i'm working on the last little project to hang in her nursery {a scallop garland, it's going to be CUTE!}

pretty much, she can come any day now.

but if she decides not to come on her own over the next 19 days, she will most definitely arrive january 28th via c-section. i'm really really really hoping to go into labor on my own and have a vbac {accepting all prayers and good vibes!}, but if i don't, i'm ok with it. i feel really peaceful about this plan. my due date is january 23rd and she's been measuring ahead the entire pregnancy, so i feel like it's a fair amount of time to give my body to do this thing naturally. and if my body doesn't, then the best thing is to get her here safely without putting me through the exhausting experience that was luc's delivery- 41.5 weeks pregnant and 30 hours of labor PLUS a c-section at the end. so the 28th it is! honestly, it's nice to have an end date to countdown to. even if i go past my due date, i know that on the 28th she will be in my arms, and i can wait that long.

only 19 more days, maybe less! {i'm praying for less!}
