happy halloween! we had so much fun this year- holidays with this kid just keep getting better and better. for the first time, luc had an opinion about what he wanted to be, so of course he chose THOMAS THE TRAIN, and he was pretty much the cutest train ever. orlando had a genius idea to be sir topham hatt, and i was an engine driver. i must say, it's my favorite family costume thus far, luc was so excited to see us all dressed up, and it made the night more magical and fun for all of us. after our ward trunk-or-treat, we took him around the neighborhood for his first ever real trick-or-treating, and for the first two blocks, he loved it. he would say 'trick treeeet choo choo' at all the houses, it was the greatest thing i've ever heard. then he got bored of it and started running down the street and around people's yards…and when we tried to redirect him back to all the CANDY! and TREATS!, he decided to be tired and grumpy, and we had to carry him around the rest of the neighborhood. haha oh well, it was fun while it lasted!
this last picture is a great visual representation of how the night quickly unraveled haha!
{thanks to my handsome hubby for playing photographer, it's fun to be in the pictures once in awhile}
