sorry for the radio silence over here. luc and i both got the summer cold from hell and we've been hiding/sleeping/slowly dying in our sick cave for almost two weeks. but! we are getting better, and orlando is here now {hooray for the bar being OVER!} so things are looking up considerably. we even ventured outside the house yesterday! after nap time, we took advantage of the perfect late afternoon weather for a few hours at the san diego safari park. this place is seriously so fun! they have a train you can ride around the park and a splash pad right next to the lion enclosure, plus acres and acres of really amazing animals and exhibits. it's one of our favorite stops in san diego.
also, can you tell luc loves having his papa back?

i can't even tell you how good it feels to be all together again. i love my family!
