four years ago this spring, orlando and i graduated from BYU. normally, i would comment that time flies, but my life at byu feels like it was eons ago. not in a bad way, just in the way that your past life and your current life hardly resemble each other anymore. i was tan and carefree and had all the time in the world to do my hair back then. now i'm a busy mom and i love it, but my most common hairdo is a bun on top of my head.

that's another post entirely.

really though, i was just thinking about how much i loved college. i loved my roommates, i loved my school, i loved most of my classes. i got to work at the MOA. i lived with kara and stacy and rachel and bethany in our beloved cornerstone 22. i majored in something i was passionate about, and i was good at it. i fell in love with the most wonderful, sexy man & he made me a very happy wife. we started out in a little provo basement with zero sunlight and big plans. and four and a half years later, we have come so far and our plans have only gotten bigger, better. i like to think that my years at BYU are a big part of the reason why- everything i learned and experienced, the choices and lifelong friends i made- it's all an essential part of what makes my everyday life so amazing right now. goodness, i'm grateful for it all!

BYU, i love you.
