EARLY CHRISTMAS

because we are headed to san diego for christmas this year {we leave today!}, we decided to have our own little christmas here as a family rather then packing all our presents across the country. {heaven knows, babies require too much stuff to travel as it is!}

too excited to wait any longer, we gave luc his presents on saturday night. we handed him the first wrapped gift, and waited with eager anticipation for his reaction. haha! he loved the wrapping paper from about the first three presents and then he was done. he screamed while we tried to tempt him with more presents... nope, he wasn't having any of it. we had to pause our christmas festivities to put our tired boy to bed, and then orlando and i finished opening our gifts to each other.

sunday morning our boy woke up happy so we excitedly loaded him up with the rest of his presents {the paper was still his favorite part}. we had a blast helping him open them and coaxing him to play with them and keeping him amply supplied with wrapping paper to rip and chew on.

pretty much, it was the best christmas of my entire life.
