snapshots of my 26th birthday weekend
i'm not sure how they do it, but every year orlando and my family and friends just keep making sure my birthday gets better and better. this year was so full and wonderful, i didn't even have a spare minute to be sad that i've joined the 'closer to 30 than 20' club.
orlando really went out of his way this year to make me feel special and pretty and so loved. he is such a sweetheart and i adore him with every spark of 26 year old life in me.
my favorite parts of this year's birthday celebration:
filling our apartment with birthday balloons, just for fun
a really sweet love note/blogpost from hubby on his blog
getting a baby book in the mail from my little brother
girl's night out with melissa for great food and soft baby things
christmas shopping together
birthday goodies- including a photography book, makeup, and a gorgeous anthro vase
my phone ringing and beeping with happy birthday wishes from friends and family all day
13 weeks pregnant on my birthday!
a huge birthday package from mom & dad
selling my first painting on etsy {squeal!}
pretending {like every year} that the christmas decorations are up just for my birthday
birthday dinner at carrabba's + a chick flick and snuggling up with my love after
every year i start anew is a good one, but with the promises of a new baby, parenthood with my best friend, and a year of law school done, this 26th year is going to be the very best, i can tell.
AHHH!!!! So, I'm not meaning to overshadow your birthday with excitement for this, but it was on my mind all day.... I'm so glad you sold your first painting!!!!!! I bet it was the one i wanted. I'll have to look. I keep thinking that I need to get it ordered...and then it slips my mind. Congrats! You look stunning and I"m so glad you had a wonderful birthday! Can't wait to talk to you!
