every evening after work, i run home, throw on my holey jeans {or holy jeans. either way is correct, seeing as how they've inspired more than one spiritual epiphany in my life. but i digress} and go. and go go go go go. where do i go? everyhere on this green earth. to the bank, to the post office, to the target for packing tape and boxes and school supplies and some shiny new nail polish. to the windows store and the best buy and the sony store for a ridiculously endless number of computer accessories. then home to scrub the house and pull out dusty boxes for emptying and re-filling. and then dusting the house again. making piles for the dumpster and piles for the DI and piles for looking at later {also known as the 'i-can't-throw-this-away-but-i-can't-store-it-what-do-i-do-with-it?!' piles} we go go go, non-stop until all energies for going have been depleted.
when the sun is gone from the sky and it's closer to tomorrow then it is today, hubby and i fall in an exhausted heap on the couch. we snuggle up to each other and i tiredly mumble out a to-do list for the next day before we drift off. some hours later we stumble to bed for a few more hours of dead sleep. and then we get up and do it all over again.
phew.
this whole startinglawschool&movingacrossthecountry stuff is tiring! i would tell you we are so excited, just thrilled really, to be doing all this {and we really are!} except that when you see the bags under our eyes, you probably won't believe it. but it's true! we are excited to get this moving-to-ohio adventure started.
so much goodness awaits us, it tickles my toes! goodness like finally being law students, adventuring all over the east coast + canada {hello toronto, my lovely!}, and maybe even a nursery to decorate.
mmm, yes. as soon as we get through the next 5.2 weeks, life is going to only going to get better and better.
if blogging is less frequent over the next few weeks, don't go away. i'll be back to full blogging power as soon as i can!
